Hi , I have got a 1994 Fourtrak and just got round to fitting a boost gauge because i thought it was a bit sluggish... The problem is that the turbo will not boost any higher than 7 psi and thats at 3,500 rpm! at 2,000rpm i get 2 psi boost ... I have checked the intercooler and vac lines for leaks but there is none, however the actuator rod is seized solid, could it be possible that the wastegate is part open thus leaking boost?
