Forum:
Who needs friends like mine!! One of them plugged in their mobile phone charger into my accessory socket (cigarette) and the charger stopped working and the radio went quiet. When I got to work I also found the electric door mirrors were not working either. Well I thought we have blown a fuse. Having just come out from under the bonnet and the fuse box on the top of the engine every fuse has been checked visually and with a test meter and all appear ok I am now stuck. Has anybody got any ideas or are there any fuses elsewhere as they are not clearly labelled in the box.
Can anybody help please
Main fuse box is in the cabin
There are 2 fuse boxes on Daihatsu YRV and Sirion models. The fuses you are after are in the cabin. Located under the steering wheel underneath a cover. The user manual will show you this.

The fuse box cover in the cabin also has a label showing which fuse is for what

Dodgy fuse?
Had a similar problem with my sister's Perodua (same as Cuore), replaced the fuse and all seemed OK. The next day she had the same problem but the fuse hadn't blown! On closer inspection the new fuse (which must have been a cheapo one as it wasn't a very tight fit) had a very thin layer of the transparent plastic moulding which had crept down over the metal prong, effectively insulating it some of the time. Hopefully it could be something as simple as this, if not then good luck!
