hiya mate
on a fourtrak , the way i had to replace the cv joints was to remove the shaft from the axle, place the shaft in a cloth in a vice, get a friend to hold the end of the cv joint and hit the big part of the joint with a big club hammer, you will destroy the cir clip,knock the new one on thats the easy bit and replace the cir clip. it takes some clumping to get the old one off i had to do both my cv joints . p.s dont forget to grease the new joint up ....regards guy
