Hi driving 89 2.8 TD estate gear box decided to commit suicide and main shaft seased. Have gear box from 89 swb fieldman diffrent transfer box on the back which you use to select 4h ect. Can this be fitted straight in or will i need to split and try to get my current transfer box on. Cheers for the help.
Either transfer case will fit
Either transfer case will fit either gearbox. The only basic difference between transfer cases is the selection type, either push button 4H, or lever select 4H. Use you existing transfer case, bolt it on to the rear of the replacement gearbox.
