2000 w reg Fourtrak. Most annoying noise from below dashboard, which seems to be linked to revs from engine.
Could this be a dry rev counter cable.
Any ideas please????
I have applied GL-5 valvoline (75-90) in my Sporty's gear and transfer box but I have noticed that the Daihatsu manual specifies valvolines of type GL-4. Will I have a problem? What is the difference between them? Thank you in advance...

It has come to my attention through one of my contacts that a number of dodgy parts are being offered for 4X4 vehicles, these are illegal and dangerous.
Does anybody know where i can get my ECU tuned to improve it off road as all the people i have phoned up have not got the sporty listed on there system even though DENSO are a popular make for ECU's.
after chatting to some friends, they suggested that to get more power out of the engine would be to advance the timing by twisting the bottom of the ignition coil

hi all, i am looking for some help if poss.i have a sporty which i want to convert to gas. does anyone have this done or have maybe drawings of the kit and what kind of mpg i could expect from this,as i am just trying to keep the cost of motoring down as u do.is there any major problems in doing this that i will no doubt encounter.the engine is basically brand new.and i feel that this should be done before xmas, thanks all
