To all Daihatsu F20/F50 enthusiasts, just wanted to know if possible to get brand new body panels would people be interested in doing this in the future instead of at present having to source second hand vehicles for body parts which is near impossible because of tin rot...Thankyou.
I'm looking for recommendations for someone who can weld and fabricate steel for a renovation of a 4trak. I'm based in the Cambridge region, so anywhere around the vicinity of East Anglia would be ideal, but if any of you know someone who can do a good job at a reasonable price then I'd also consider taking the vehicle to them. It is road worthy and MOT till January.

I am new to the forum and would like to ask a bit of advice please. I have just bought a 1995 sportrack which needs a new lower front panel (the bit underneath the radiator grill and lights). Its on the facelift model and I cant find one anywhere. Mine is shot and ruining an otherwise excellent truck.

I have recently purchased a P reg. 1996 Fourtrak which has leather seats and walnut trim on the dashboard. There is nothing to indicate if this is a special model, any information would be appreciated. I am also looking for a manual.

I would like to get hold of the complete service manual for the sportrak (1996 Xi) but I have been told that the one available on this website under the service manuals tab is a condensed version, and I wondered if anybody could clarify that?
Hi I have just had my Fourtrak MOT'd but in France, they required verification of VIN No. which is stamped on to chassis somewhere but because it has been wax oiled, couldn't find it and therefore unable to give me a certificate until I can point them to it.
Does anyone know the precise location of this number. Thank you in advance!
i dont suppose anybody has used a leak stopping fluid in their engine or transmission on their daihatsu have they? if so does it work? i have a leak that is coming from the trans and the engine, their both sligt but make considerable marks when parked up.... im only mainly worried about the trans drying up as it is quite whiney anyway.
