hi, ive just sent my newly aquired fourtrak in for an MOT, however the brakes have been rather funny since i got it, when pressed the brake pedal kicks back... is this normal? also it was running on 50%veg oil (unused) and 50% diesel, is this ok? or should i run it on just diesel? im very new to dihatsu's so everythings strange to me! im sure i shall be asking lots of questions in the near future!!
I've used my stock sportrak off road at my nearest site Baldhu, in Cornwall. I've been careful enough not to damage it but am worried about future use. Some rock sliders seem to be one of the best things to invest in, to protect the car, but being a sportrak, there aren't many around. I've found 2 and hoped you could help be decide between them.
Help can anyone tell me if the Pitman arm is the same on the Sportrak and the Fourtrak.I have a 94.Sportrak and find it impossible to get pitman arm for it ,but can get 1 for a Fourtrak.
Changed my TDX's rad a couple of weeks back, and have run it through on water only to get the air locks out. That done I'd like to stick more antifreeze in it. The stuff I got out was pink. What's the difference between the colours and which should I really be putting back in?
As Im sure most of you know, the steering wheel on the 4trak is not the smallest of things, its made even worse when its been repaired with gaffa tape and got a stupid wrap around cover on it!!
With that in mind im looking to change the steering wheel, looking at atleast £47 for a boss and then £whatever for a steering wheel, which is quite costly.
Hi, to any and all that could help;
I have a Diahatsu Sportrak and looking to modify. Love BloodRed, and were I closer I would defo use his services (if available). However I'm all they way in the South-West (Plymouth) and looking for a garage/workshop/specialist who could apply the body lift (possibly with 2" pro comp shocks) without making a bodge job of it.
