Forum:
Hi Daihatsu Ownwers
I,m looking to get a Sirion 02-05 and would like some advice on what to look for when viewing cars?
I,ve had a good look through the forums and decided I will most probably go for a standard 1.3 as the rally versions seem to have a few problems with finding parts. Though if I see one at a good price I may be swayed by the extra power
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris.
I went to view a Sirion
I went to view a Sirion today. Totally standard sl 53 plate 56k on the clock. Had a few rust patches and needs a good clean but in good condition overall.
One thing I noticed when we went on the test drive (not me driving) when he let off the gas it seemed to judder a bit. Is this normal? or what could it be?
As its done 56k and has no history of a new cluch how long do you think it will be before it needs doing?
Sorry for all the questions.
I'm new to these cars and want to know what to expect.
Any info appreciated from anyone, Sirion driver or not.
Cheers.
Chris.

Re: I went to view a Sirion
Top Gear did a review on the Sirion when it first came out and said it "rolled" on bends but other then that could not fault it.
I have bought one recently and have no complaints. 2007 plate and 21,000 miles but it had been a Mobility car and has suffered a few dinks in the body work. Nice smooth ride and it's an auto. Had it six weeks now.
