I've recently started driving my Sirion Rally 4 on track. The car is standard and the handling isn't great. It's rolling like a boat and on three wheels quite often.
Does anyone know the max ride height drop on standard alloys and shocks? Any advice on spring rate? Anyone selling any parts that might help? Any other useful advice?

I have exhausted searches for a pair of these. One company said that there was one side only in Japan and the rest, all Daihatsu Parts dealers, have been unable to locate any but have warned that replacement UK lights would cost well over £300 each from Daihatsu.
We are to embark on a small kind of conversion of a 52 plate 1.3 petrol Hijet. We just want to put a fixed bed in (or Rock n Roll, depending on how we feel) with storage underneath. We don't need a sink or a fixed stove - electrics etc as we will literally slum it and be happy with that! BUT we do want an awning for longer trips and we do need some advice about boarding the interior out. Currently it is literally a van with two seats and sliding door etc. Any help and advice re: appropriate awning and battening would be greatfully recieved!
I've just entered a fault onto the problems forum that can hopefully be answered but if I need to find a good mechanic/diagnostic technician can one be recommended?
A few years ago I took it to a garage who had it for 3 months saying the computer said I needed to change a whole host of things - it ended up being a simple broken spring in the throttle throat! I felt I was paying for the his training! Can someone who knows Daihatsu in East Anglia or anywhere be recommended? Thanks. Chris
The tarter solenoid on my Hijet pcikup is faulty, but I'm having issues trying to find a replacement. The starter motor is good, so I only need the solenoid. Does anyone know where I can source one?
Hi..recently bought a hijet efi ,1999 camper. Am looking to create some more space / better sleeping arrangements. Currently one bed is made by using the table top and legs go under the sink/ cooker arrangement. Has anyone modified similar to make better use of space? Also looking to replace passenger seat with swivel but am struggling to find right size plate any ideas? Thanks
