hello guys i have a 1986 daihatsu rocky 2.8 diesel non turbo and its a pain in the ass when start from cold. now correct if i am wrong but i am almost a 100% sure is bad glow plugs or the relay wich i will change shortly depending on what it is. now my other question is (just in case) what if i change the glow plugs or relay or both and still doesn't start from cold, what could it be?
Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a replacement cross tube for the 4track. The part I need is the round tube that runs above the back axle and hold the axle top mounts. Mine has rusted out completely and if I can't get this then I think its terminal.

We are currently preparing our 2000 Terios 1.3 for the 10,000 mile trip to Ulan Bataar; there's a couple of things we love to hear from people about if they have any information on the following:
i might sound dum but i realy want to know how to read the odometer on my rocky. its actually reading 43232.8 but the last number(8) is spinging while i am driving, so that means that it actually got only 43,232 mileage on it or actually realy has 432,328 mileage on it. and my other question is is this the type of odometer that when it gets to certain number of mileage it kicks back to zero(0). please advise thanks.
hello and sorry but i am new to daihatsu rocky. i would like to increase the hp on my rocky and would probably will be doing a turbo on it so my question is besides the daihatsu turbo can i fit any other turbo kit on it or is it just strictly daihatsu turbo and my other question is will the engine and all its components handle the turbo? OHH by the way i currently have a 1987 daihatsu rocky 2.8 2765cc non turbo and would like to fit a turbo in it. thanks in advance.
Could anyone please tell me the gross vehile weight or the max authorised mass for the different types of 2.8TD fourtrak please. Including LWB, SWB, commercial (which I assume is just the SWB)
