hello i recently bough a daihatsu rocky 1987 2.8 non turbo and the fuel filter looks different than i though, its not cylinder looling like. instead is rectangular standing upright now my question is: is this the original filter or is it some type of conversion by the previous owner haven't got the chance to ask him.
where are the glow plugs on a 1986 2.8 diesel non turbo daihatsu rocky, is it something easy to change like an oil change or its something more complicated please let me know how to change them. thanks for help
hello whats up guys and girls i have a daihatsu rocky 1986 2.8 diesel non turbo, the engine its well taking care of and very clean. i know its an old truck but i just bough a new battery and when i start it up specially in the morning it takes a few attemps to fire on, now my question is: its that because its an old car, do i have to buy new alternator and starter, or its something completly normal. please let me know. thanks
hi guys on my daihatsu rocky 1986 2.8 non turbo diesel when i shift to 2nd and 3rd sometimes and most of the times it feels likes loosing power and than reacts and starts accelerating its that something serious that i should worrie about or what its it. thanks
hi i have a 1987 daihats rocky 2.8 non turbo and am a little confuse about the 4wd stick, please correct me if am wrong when i am running on the road normal does it have to be o 2wheel lo or neutral. my other question is when i am offroad in the mud do i have to select 4wheel low or high first and than set the hub on lock or first set the hub on lock and than select 4wheel low or high. thanks
Does anyone know/have a list of blueprint part numbers for the fourtrak? I was thinking it would make sense for users of this forum to perhaps put together a complete list? Usually only parts suppliers can access these part numbers through the blueprint website.

Unfortunately there is no owner manual with the car, so I don't know the capacities and specifications of all the oils, - engine, axles, transfer case, transmission , brake fluid. My search in the www was without success.
