I need some help identifying a pipe on my f78 turbo diesel.
Whilst underneath replacing the fuel pipes i noticed a pipe about the same size as a brake pipe coming out of the rear axle and going into the rear tubular cross member.
this pipe is also corroded so will need replacing.
what does this pipe do ?.
Hello every one, my name is Alvaro and I live in Colombia South America.
Can some one help me. I am looking for the service manuals for a rocky 1986 engine 2.0L 3Y f85.
Forgive me for being cynical, but I think that the BBC is becoming overpopulated by a bunch of politically correct lefty pinkos (I'm taking my lead from Carol Thatcher here).
I get some of the funny 'odds and sods' (like rubber chassis bushes or the damn mudflap brackets that need hacking off with a gas axe, for example) from the main dealers. The price is not too bad for these small bits, so I don't worry about paying dealer prices.
i have a 1988 rocky lwb 2.8 non turbo and i needs new or well shape leaf springs all around, my question is if i put leaf springs from another truck (toyota, hyundai, nissan whaterver etc) and move the hangers either front or back wherever it needs to be moved to fit the springs how do i align the differential to the death center of the wheel wells so all the components can be fit perfectly, has anybody done this before, does it works perfect, does it provide a smooth ride or the same, and what are the advantages and disadvantages. thank you.
i took a realy close look at my 1988 rocky and i saw that i realy need to replace at least the front leaf springs and maybe the back ones, now i would like to know if there is another car that has the same measurements leaf springs that i could use, i could order them from milners but the shipping its going to cost me way more than the leaf springs itself. please let me know.
my cambelt has broken today ,does anyone know if it is repairable . or does it mean a replacement engine . model 1995 , 2.8 turbo diesel . can anyone help me please !!!!

Any one found a supplier of outer sills, or do I have to go down the DIY route and make my own.
Small replacment panels fitted 3 years ago to comply with seat belt mounting regs still okay but rest of panel forward is deteriating badly, though inner sills still sound.
