gunson eezibleed suitability for sportraks master cylinder

Forum:

does this gunson eezibleed connect to the sportraks master cylinder with its own universal cap or do need to modify my own brake fluid cap?

tried the manual way and got somewhere, but brakes are still spongy. really takes a lot of pedal pressure to get the thing stopped.

at least ive got some now though, getting somewhere.

Sporty bodychassis split

Forum:

I have recently bought a Sportrak L reg. After doing the initial service I have run her and covered 3000 miles trouble free. I have replaced the rear door and am about to convert to the later front end lighting. As I like the Sportrak I am now wanting to start on more extensive work. Replacing all the body to chassis bushes and hameriting the chassis.

Newbi. Am going to get my sportrak tomorrow. Advice please.

Forum:

Hi, I used to own an old 1970's farm daihatsu, it was a great trundle wagon, poor on fuel but soft top, split rear seats that folded down from the sides. It had been painted red and was real good fun. Unfortunately it was nicked and trashed, I had a young daughter and decided to get a more sensible car. So the other day I wrote off the more sensible car on the motorway and have decided to get myself a sportrak. there is a J reg one for sale a couple of miles down the road. The photo looks good, very shiny, not tatty, it has done 113,000 miles.

Battery Terminal

Forum:

The positive battery terminal on my Sportrak is broken. Can anybody suggest where I might get a replacement in London.

RD LOCK QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forum:

I know theres alot of confusion out there concerning 4WD and that most people belive when 4WD is engaged all the wheels turn at the same time but they dont!
on my dads mitsubushi l200 there as switch which reads RD lock i prsume this locks the rear diff wheels to turn at the same time? or does it lock all wheels to turn at the same time? is there any way of doing this to my Fourtrak 2.8 TDX?
