Hi guys... I was wondering if someone could give me the lowdown on the tdx riviera and timberlines... I came across a timberline and I can't really seem to find exactly what the trim level offers although it appears the riviera had the highest retail price here followed by the timberline and then independent. :).
I have a Rocky (US), Daihatsu powered with an engine that likely won't pass our California smog test next time due to excessive emissions(pistons, rings, valve guides, etc)and no (zero!) parts are available. I've understand that Toyota acquired Daihatsu at some point and produced a Toyota powered version. Is anyone familiar with the two versions who can fill me in on difficulty of refitting with a Toyota engine, such as what engine family was used, if the tranny bolts up, what other parts would be required (ECU, after Cat O2 Sensor, wiring harness.
I've just come back from Bali, Indonesia and have fallen in love with the TAFT and Toyota Blizzard. There are absolutely loads of them there!
Being so plentiful out here I thought it would be easy to pick up one of these little beauties back in blighty but I seem to be very wrong. I can't find any for sale. None.
Any one know of any other rear wiper arms that will fit my F78 as some low life has pinched mine and Fourtraks are like hens teech in breakers yards near us.
I've just purchased 1999 TDX to replace my old 1996 one which is going to be a donor vehicle. The new one doesn't have the headlight washer system and I rather fancy transferring the old one over. I see that the wiring plug near the LH headlight is there for the headlight washer pump but there is no voltage to it so I assume that the relay needs moving over as well. The problem is that I cant find the plug for it on the new car (under dash, passenger side on the old one, near where the emissions ECU is on the new one). Any one any idea where it might be? Thanks.
How to get back panel back inline sticking out on back part of wheel arch i backed in to something there looks to be some sort of plastic bracket & a hole for a screw tried screws no luck
