Haven't seen many of these about? Where not many of them made for the UK market or did they all die early?

I'm acquiring mine from a guy who had it from nearly new and religiously maintained it. Anything bar rust that goes wrong with the petrol variety?

New to the forum. Just wondering what's the largest tyre size I can use on the standard rims with out and modifications at all?

Haven't picked the vehicle up yet but it needs one new tyre and will change the rest at the same time. I think they are 215 sr 15 on there at the moment. Was thinking maybe 235/75R15 as a possibility but was unsure about rubbing issues.

Good Morning, I wanted to share my experience on a great little F50, 1983 model I recently acquired. with a little welding, it sailed through its MOT, has had a paint job and become "Sarge" from Cars Movie! it's just returned from a 2500 Miles trip that has taken it through france, over the Swiss Alps (St Bernards Pass!), through Italy and down to Monte carlo, for pictures outside Casino Square - Believe me it received more attention than the Bentleys and bugati's! It sailed through its journey home with no problems other than a tyre blow out in Lyon.

I have had my 87 f70 for a while now . I'm a very experienced mechanic but this Is starting to get to me now. Iv done loads of work on my f70. The things looking good now . I don't want to totally mod it even tho its got the cons such as front and bk tow bars and winches . They never ever get used anyway , more for show really r when there really needed. The problem iv got is when I'm travelling on m roads only theses probably being excessive speeds around 60 and 70. .

I've changed the bushes on the front rollbar as those on there were obv originals and well past their best!
Q. Anyone any idea how tight to do them? Do I tighten them to a specific torque setting or, do I tighten them until the 'rubbers' are compressed to a certain thickness??
I've changed to polybushes so don't know if this makes any difference??
