I am going to change the oil in all of the above as part of a major service on my new Fourtrak. I have read through the service manual and noticed that it recommends using GL-3 oils in the diffs and tbox but GL-5 oil in the gearbox. As GL-5 is a better grade of protection is there any reason why I shouldn't just buy a big tub of GL-5 grade oil and use that for everything?

Which one do I have? I have seen lots of photos of different ones some claiming to be LWB and others SWB in various different trim, engine and age but I can't really tell much difference. It's not as obvious at the difference between a 90 and 110. lol

Mine is a 1996 N reg Fieldman TDL.

i have put in a ford transit radiator and expansion bottle and at long last she dont boil. i bypased the heater matrix so maybe tht was part the problem thakyou all so much for ya advise top bunch of people, just need help sourcing new wheel cylinders before the 16th?????? any ideas please thanks adam
