I have put up a load of fourtrak parts on ebay and will be listing more over the next few weeks.If anybody is after anything specific,(I have lots of parts but not everything I do have a complete rear side panel for a fourtrak pick-up and the tailgate latches) they can contact me through the forum or via ebay my username is the same as on here.
Iv been reading through the other posts.Is the filler on the drivers side of the box,is it an allen key type bolt? as am not really that mecanically minded but dur to lack of funds this years service plus gearbox oil will have to be done bye me.:help: i just wnt to make 100% sure that im rite.
The handbrake isn't holding as well as it should. Does this automatically adjust or can I do it manually and if so - where is the adjusting nut. Could just be worn brake shoes as they've been on a few years.
Can any one help with information on the above. I cannot find any manuals for it. The problem is it is idling at aprox 2000 rpm,hot or cold. The engine type is given as HC-EJ. As you can imagine with it being an auto it can be fun in traffic. Any advice would be appreciated. My wife is giving me grief, its her car.
Hi Folks. For whatever reason,I havent been able to log into the site for the best part of 9 months or so..the system just kept rejecting my login details saying that my email address wasnt recognised..so gave up after 256 attempts :o) So,like "Prince" I,ve had a slight name change from plain old screaminkiwi to The Screaminkiwi as it wouldnt of course let me register as myself as I was already there !!! !! same old sod with the same old truck..so...good to be back !
I have a spare Fourtrak gearbox which came attached to a normally aspirated engine in a TDX.(Long story) Can anyone tell me how to identify and value it please?
It has more electrical connections on the side than the proper TDX engine .
I was offered a pretty good F70 and thought it might be useful as a spare parts donor in the future but it is the non turbo version.
Is the only difference the engine is without a turbo? or are the gearbox and diff different. To the mechanically minded sorry if this sounds stupid but I don't want to spend the money and realise I have a donor that
different major components...:?
