Is it wise to fit a K&N 57i filter to the YRV turbo?

Went and bought a K&N k57i induction kit as I was getting bored of the whooshing of the Blitz Stainless one I already have fitted. But unlike the Blitz the K&N one uses oil to trap the particles from getting into the engine, which in turn the oil has been known to get in also and foul up sensors etc... Has onyone fitted one of these? If so any horror stories?

I now also have D-Sport Strut Brace on my YRV Turbo

I've finally got around to purchasing a D-Sport Strut Brace from Japaneazi Car Parts. Fitted it today as its been the first time since a gap in the rain since it arrived. Have to agree with jpor who fitted and written about them previously, does improve the cars handling and feel. Best way i can think of describing it,is that it "tightens" the feel of the front of the car if that makes sense.

ScanGauge II in a YRV Turbo 130

I've just fitted one of these from E-bay, and it's a cool gadget.

I'm particularly interested in the MPG; Air Inlet Temperature; Voltage and Manifold Air Pressure which should work like a boost gauge.

Handily it fits easily into the little tray below the stereo, although I've swapped the tray and stereo over to make the Scangauge easier to read.

Anyone else got one?
