i have a Sirion 2 1.3 FWD and i want to upgrade my front brakes. I have searched for D-sport parts and as far as i understand, D-sport has an upgrade for BoonX4 with grooved brake plates. However, the plates do not seem to go with an appropriate upgrade kit for the calipers.
My questions are:
1) Are the brake plates for BoonX4 compatible with the 2WD model (Sirion/Boon)?
I am looking at getting a YRV Turbo very soon.
I have got a Peugeot 306 Dturbo which will match the performance of the YRV Turbo in its standard form.
So I will be looking into modifying it.
What have others done to theirs.
I was thinking of a Blitz NUR Spec Exhaust, Twin Piston Dump Valve, Lowering 35mm, and strutbrace.
Enquiring whether anyone has the knowledge regarding engine replacements for this vehicle. Is it viable to install the later release turbo model diesel engines to this vehicle without requiring major structural modifications.
Appreciate any information on this subject as existing motor is reaching the end of its economical life.
I Just bought a new Charade with the 989cc engine and was wondering are there any performance parts/tuning i can do to this magic little car to get some more grunt out of it?
I would like to fit some rear "fill Speakers" in the tailgate door of my Move/Kenari and was wondering if I can fit one of the following sizes.
9 x 7, 7 x 5 or 5 x 4 elliptical.
As the door depth is quite restricted and the boot completely full of my day to day gear I need a speaker that is low profile on both sides of it's mounting plate.
Hi to everyone, I have not been a member for very long. I have two Sportraks, one for every day use and one for offroading. I am trying to find out if anyone knows anything about a diesel conversion for a sportrak or even a bigger petrol engine. I was thinking off useing a 2.0litre from toyota cariena but need to find someone that could make an adapter plate. I would also like to find out about a lift kit and good quality wheel spacers to widen the track a bit.
i have been looking round for the last couple of days at buying a remote central locking kit for my 1991 daihatsu applause. When i put new speakers in my front doors i noticed a big wiring harness in the door which went to nowhere fast! just wondering if anybody knows wat it is for, is it just for the high end models with power windows and central locking fitted? if so can i use it to fit my new central locking kit? where do the cables lead to?
