Questions in the title really. I want to try and fit one, Im hoping i can pick one up from a scrapper, obviously different make to daihatsu but hoping i can 'tailor' to fit.
Hopng to improve on fuel consumption etc by doing away with the belt driven standard fan
I am now selling my beloved Fourtrak, 98 'S' reg in white, with 7 seats, central locking, electric windows and tow bar all fitted, she is in super condition, has 139500 miles on the clock, 6 months mot and tax, had 5 new Kumho m/t tyres fitted last year, (also have another new one not fitted, so 2 have never been on the road!) new heavy dutey battery also fitted last year, and all new rear window seals fitted (parts only cost £350!)she drives faultlesly, and likes a bit of veg oil too!

I am the very chuffed owner of a 92 Fourtak TDX. Shes a lovely thing and just brilliant! But now the body work is a little worse for wear. Good for year, but has scrapes and things from branches etc. I am wondering about re painting her.
A. Is it worth it
B. How much might it cost
C. Where could anyone recommend getting this done.
Hi on a 1996 n 2.8 fortrack i,m thinking about changing the cambelt do they ruin an engine if they break and would you change the tensioner i,ve been told that the tensioners if they look ok don't need changing cheers in advance Dan
Hi I have an f50 dg engine that i need parts for. diahatsu garages ask for the chassis no as the doner vehicle reg is more than 10yrs since DVLA last use, any ideas?

Can anyone tell me what is the newest possible registration for a Dihatsu Fourtrac 2.8TD Independant. I currently have an M reg at 150,000miles on clock seems to live forever really delighted with it. Definately looking to get a new one maybe next year, new as possible and lowest possible mileage.
has anyone tried fitting vitara fatboy wheels (10ins) to a tdx indy do they fit ok or are they to big if so what size tyres would you use rims are 15x10s
I want to raise the front of my Fourtrak and am wondering what the exact procedure is. For example is it necessary to take the weight off the front wheels before adjusting the torsion bars?
