Hi all i have just got myself a 1997 sportrak elxi limited and would like to know if this model has adjustable susspension on the dash,as mine has just a hole where i think the switch should be just to the left of the rear windscreen wiper switch.

Hi everyone, just joined as i have bought a Sportrak (1993). I am looking for some guidance on how to replace the front discs on the above. I have removed the road wheel, removed the outer FWH cap and the FWH alloy body, the internal circlip and have removed the 2 retaining bolts for the brake caliper. This is where i am stuck!! There appears to be a steel ring which has three torx screws in, which you cant get !! i have read several other threads on the site but i cant seem to work out how to remove this!! is it part of the FWH?? All i want to do is change the discs!!
I am pleased to say that on saturday my 1981 F50 based jeep passed its MOT and is now back on the road after many years how many i dont know but it could be as many as ten years.

Following an interesting conversation with another fellow engineer today, he suggested that i pass on some of the things i had done over the years, to other members, here goes:
Contaminated components such as clutch friction plates, brake shoes, and disc pads which are still in good condition can be resurrected.
had a new clutch fitted about 3 months ago and was advised that it'd need a new cable as the one on was poss stretched. just fitted a new cable which has know made the peddle alot lighter but its on the last of the adjustment on the cable. is this normal? or is there another point of adjustment?

hello i am desperately seeking an owners manual for my husbands' daihatsu grand move plus , its 1997 model. we need to replace the thermostat, kids are moaning its too cold first thing and it takes ages for the windows to clear on cold days, bought it only afew weeks ago as our first car when husband passed his test- love it but just want the blowers to produce warm air instead of cold!! brrrrrrr.....
