Hi, I'm still waiting on the log book arriving for my F/T. In the meantime, can anyone explain how to identify the engine model, the wheelbase length etc? It is a 1990 EL 2.8 turbo - seven seater. I think it is an F75 but am unsure. Similarly, if it is the seven seater does that mean it is the LWB model?
I currently drive a Toyota 2.4TD Surf which I'm thrilled with but it's my only vehicle and between having to clean it every time I hit the mud and that fact that I don't really want to hurt it I'm now looking to buy a full time off-roader with a mate of mine.
Hi, new to the forum and as it says above - I've bought a fourtrack. It's a 1990 EL 2.8 Turbo diesel and everything works fine - as far as I can tell so far. I had plenty of opportunity on the long drive home to see how well it ran and how noisy it gets (Very!)
hi have just realised on my replys i have the american flag but i'm in the uk so does anyone know how i change this flag not that it bothers me if its complicated to do i'll just leave it as it is.
I would like to ask anyone for some advice about doing some upgrades to my fourtrak but dont no where to start on this.I would like to make a roof rack and lift the suspension and would like to here from anyone that has done this as i am new to this but am willing to learn.I have done some upgrades but they were not to challenging and nead get my teeth into a bit more.
How can I tell if my TDX turbo is working or not?
There is no turbo light to look at and the car seems very very slow, although I have nothing to compare it with.
It reaches 80 mph eventually but I can't feel it coming on boost.
Dave.
I've been offered some Vitara 16" wheels for my off-roader fourtrak.
But Im not sure if these wheels are right for my truck, I want 16" rims so I can get better tyre choice like Insa Turbos'.
The Rims i've been offered are off a Suzuki GV1600, is this the wheels that are fitted to those "wide boy" Vitara's, so no real good for off-roading or am I wrong?
