I have just bought a fourtrak, its a J reg Rocky and its in serious need of tlc. The floor has more holes than metal but the chasis is sound. Just cant wait to get it fixed ! I was wondering if any of you knew any parts dealers around the Notts area.

i ordered a silencer for my sportrack but i received the wrong one and didn't realise the silencers were different. does anybody have a diagram they could e-mail me. the silencer has two mufller boxes but the one that is first is not a cylindrical shape and it s smaller than the one that is on the back length of the silencer.
thinking of replacing all shock absorbers
on my fourtrack f78 with explorer pro comp es9000 shocks. just wondering if any body else has fitted them . just want to know how they perform
I am a new owner of a 93 Sportrak ELXi. Anyone got the wheel fitment sizes i.e. PCD etc and also what other vehicles are the same fitment as the Sportrak.
One other thing does the Sportrak have the same wheel fitment as the Fourtrak.

I've recently bought a 91 Fourtrak EL Petrol. I was told by the previous owner that he got 'about 30mpg'.
I've worked out that I'm getting roughly 23mpg. This seems a bit high. I would have expected 28/30 myself.

I own a 't' reg Fourtrak Independent diesel 2.8 turbo and am just giving it some TLC; oil, water, belts, wax grease etc. I've looked in my manual and was suprised to see I need to replace a timing belt instead of having a chain. I've checked with a dealer and they have also said I need a belt BUT.... under the hood there is no plastic cover going to the top of the crank shaft. There is a horizontal plastic case mid way down the engine, is this it? I just don't get the positioning and the width of the plastic cover doesn't seem wide enough for a timing belt.
