Hi.. I have an f77 foutrak pick up. It has the regular 2800 diesel engine and i'm looking to upgrade this to the td or tdi so can anyone who has an engine going or any helpful hints and tips if they've done a similar swap drop me a line. i'm assuming either the td or tdi will fit in my truck with only the exhaust and possibly air intake modifications... but not sure realy. I wrecked my Rocky 2 days ago. The mechanic who is doing the repair needs to know if there is a collision switch and if so the location of such switch. He has been unable to get power and thinks there may be such switch. Also, can someone tell me where I can get a detailed manual for my Rocky?
Prompt response would be greatly appreciated for I can't stand being without my Rocky.
have just had all new springs fitted on me f75 the problem is that when i get to around 40-50 it starts to vibrate. ive just had a bearing done at the same time but it a different vibration it dosent just come from the front but from the whole truck back and front. could this be because of the stiffer springs with poly bushes and will it settle down in a week or so or is it somting eles. was going to give it the weekend then go back to the garage but thought id ask here first so i dont look a prat when i go back to the garage for him to tell me it'll settle down soon.
might be a daft question but where does your temp gage sit on your sport trak when running?.
ive had some problems with over heating recently i took the rad out and ran a high powered hose through it,it seems to have helped
and the gage goes up and down but managed to stay around the half way mark with the heaters off.
so all though its not over heated
i still felt it was running hot

I've done a bit of digging and have found out a couple of bits and bobs myself, but it'd be nice if someone had put together a document telling people what to look for and what to look out for....
As a soon to be new owner of a 92 Feroza/Sportrak, I wanted to ask some advise on what I need to pay serious attention to because she has just over 240,000 kms on her clock. From what I can gather has been a town /road vehicle for the most part. But all te same wanted to reach out to the wider driving community and get some advise.
