Help me! Can't believe after all the design that's gone into the Sportrak, that the sunroof, when off, has to flap around behind the back seats. Could someone tell me how it goes without it getting damged? ta, Andy G.
As a previous charade owner through uni, it became obvious that the Feroza (sportrack) was the way to go for a small functional economical 4x4. However I have hit a snag, there really arent that many available and one that I have found looks right, drives, right and the price is right - but the Km's are up around 230,000 - now as 91 model - I need some experienced advise as to what key issues I need to be looking at/ consider replacing. Or do you guys think she is on her last set of legs.
Can anyone tell me what a 2.8 td fourtrack will do to the gallon as I'm thinking of buying one but need something fairly economical thanks in advance N
hello and greetings everyone, i am fairly new to this website as i have only just bought a sportrak two weeks ago. i got the car for 100 quid knowing it needed alot of work, which as a mechanic isnt a great problem, but... the price and rareity of parts has had me tearing my hair out.
my reason for this posting is this, in the short time i have had the car i have found that alot of the parts are the same as for other daihatsu cars and other jap cars, but i have only found this out in bits and pieces, wouldnt it be nice to compile a list of alternate parts that fit and put them all in one place ie this web site. i am sure with the combined knowledge and experience of all you out there this would be possible, and result in a handy guide to help us all save money and reduce the expense of owning these cars.
Daihatsu Feroza. There is a noticeable rattle from both sides of the front suspension when driving on a bumpy road. The shock absorbers are ok and it has been suggested that it is the knuckle joints (?) from the 4WD system to the front wheels. Does anybody have any other suggestions. I'm not sure what the knuckle joint is. Thanks.
i would like to know what is the top model and spec on theses cars. also i see an addy from a trader saying that his sporty had limited slip diff???? did thay do them on sporty's??? any tec stuff like that and anything about theses cars would be a great help to me
i dont want to buy a donkey or a car not up to towing and some off road fun
