I've made the crazy decision to flog my modern car which is boring the pants off me. I want a good off-roader to go and have some fun in!
I'm used to slowness, noise and flappy doors on the motorway courtesy of my citroen 2cv!
What are the real key things to look for on a Fourtrak? What would make you walk away? My budget is £2k tops so I'm obviously expecting fairly large mileage and probably some "characterful" dents!
I have a w reg (2000) Fourtrak but under the bonnet there is a sicker with rocky on it is this normal?
I know that in other places around the world they are known as rockys! so is mine an import or do the english ones have rocky stickers under the bonnet
hi i still have a noise coming from under neath my fourtrac not all the time sometimes the noise comes when i go round a left hand bend lasts for approx 8 seconds and dissapears,ideas please ,how do i tell if inner rear wheel bearing is on its way out .cheers ian
Hi,i would like to know what's the use of a steering dumper and if it would a good idea to buy one for my 1990 sportrak?If so,which are the best dumpers for the job.
Just bought a Sportrak on ebay, never been in one, not yet seen the puppy I bought. Can anyone point out areas I need to look at to know if it is a bad one?
Please can anyone send me a photo of their FEROZAS engine (1992 model).i looked at mine and there seems to be something missing just to the right of the hose for the air breather.i saw a 1993 SPORTRACKs engine and there is a cylinder shaped casing that might house another air filter.HHHEELLLPPP!!!!!!!!
Just(2 Days) bought an '85/6 'C' 2.8 diesel sport, am a little concerned at the rec. oil pressure in the specs. page. I was running at 40psi, according to the guage, for 60 miles down the motorway recently. Seemed to run ok,if a little noisy, can I adjust or do I wait for it to die?
I've a '93 LWB Fourtrak with vented discs, caliper sliders (front) have lost their seals and caliper hence won't budge. Where can I get the slider pins and seals from ?? Any help very much appreciated as car is now off the road rather than "off road" while I find the parts and fix it.
