Newbie general questions:::
1) What weight can the TDX tow (Im looking to tow about 1700kgs)the info on this site just says 3500kg towing weight is that the combined weight of it and caravan........

The description sounds very promising with all the spares etc, but I think if I were bidding on a vehicle on ebay I'd want to go & see it first & check it out thoroughly, you could end up with a bag of sh**e!

For those looking for winches, check out Ebay, just type "Winch" in the search, bargains to be had if you're lucky. Have bought two myself, good value if the bidding doesn't get out off hand! If it does, wait a while, always plenty more being advertised!

I have a 94 L Reg Sportrak ELXi Limited. Its mint in every way, its had no rust or dents....touch wood!
I need the valve stem oil seals, head shaving, Pistons replacing ( piston slap ), re - bore etc to make it into a recoditioned engine, losing oil etc, but not burning it, no black somke etc.
Would it be better to replace the engine or carry out the work on the engine I have in?? I've been quoted £800 - £1000 to get it all done and dusted! Or would you just buy a second hand / re con engine?? ( I need a 1.6i )
For those with a card, this is at Makro for £9.99 - 11.74 with the VAT. And thats for the large (750 ml) one. Needless to say the Sportrak has had another treatment. Cheapest I've ever seen it.
im considering selling my daihatsu fourtrak as seen on the image gallery. this truck has had loads spent on it and looks the biz, unfortunatly my bullmastiff cant jump in the back,suppose thats what you get having a 7ft truck, anyway not sure what its worth , probably £2000 but fear not il buy another but keep it standard ride height, poop ......regards guy
