can anybody recommend a garage in the coventry area who nows there way around a sportrak engine. mine keeps ticking over a differant speedsbeen told it might be sucking in air but im thick when it comes to engines.need help

Have relatively recently acquired a 96 model and love it! Have had all the little niggles put right and the wheels brought up to scratch, so there's just one more little job I'm thinking of carrying out - a conversion to LPG. The vehicle is my daily transport for the 12 miles each way to work and at weekends is used to pull a pretty heavy trailer (it was pulling the backside out of my Mitsi Space Runner) and for an occasional dash to the seaside (from Warwickshire)- annual mileage 14k ish.

Hi, anybody know the torque wrench settings etc,for the cylinder head bolts???

I have a 1989 2.8 turbo d fourtrak.

just had a close call with a back plate bolt working it's way loose and falling to the bottom of the timing case and stripping half the cam belt, causing the timing to slip and bending all the exhaust push rods HAPPY DAYZ.

Hi People, its great reading and feeling this unity between Daihatsu drivers. At present im not yet one. I am writing here because im very interested in buying a Terios.

I wanted to ask some questions.

1) Is the interior really that small + crammed. How many passengers does it take comfortably.

2) Is it good in floods? Let us say, 60cms or 1/2 a meter of water?

3) Was going2ask about offroad performance but already saw some posts. However, since the vehicle is rather high and narrow, any idea of what its tilt angle is. Im used to a landrover but its running costs r quite high, however, a landrover has a 45dedgree tilt.
