Hi, I am the proud owner of a 1994 Diahatsu Feroza that has independent front suspension. I know that it is possible to gain a 2 inch lift (approx) by winding up the torsion bars but I would like to know how to get a bit more out of it. If anyone knows how I would like to hear. Cheers, Andy.
Having just returned from my holiday in Weymouth,I would like to thank all the Fourtrak owners that gave me a wave when seeing me.
I was the idiot in the maroon and silver truk, flashing lights and waving to all.
My kids love it when a fellow Fourtraker gives us a wave or a flash of the lights.
Thanks again.
Hello all . Just bought a 2001 LWB Daisy .Can anyone help me on the subject of roof bars" i only need to have them on as a tempoary idea " want to move ladders around. I have 3 Houses to maintain ,mine , mums, now sisters..Some one out there might be able to help..and i dont want or need to use a trailer ,no space and someone always want to borrow it..Any help would be great..Many thanks Eugene
When towing the horse trailer back home with my 4trak, I go up a steep, drive and I need low ratio. However, because it is concrete and has sharp bends, I cannot use 4WD because of probable 'wind up' damage. This was not a problem with my older 4trak, because I just left the front hubs freewheeling, but the Independant I have now has automatic freewheeling front hubs, so in low ratio I am always in 4WD.
Hi
Everybody I have a Sportstrack N reg I bougt it 2 years ago it haveing been in a minor bump, I repared the car myself it has been a good buy and has never let us down.
The question I have is will it tow a 2 berth caravan with out overloading the engine etc. I am aware the guide is 85% of the unladen weight of the car the caravan falls within this crteria.
I have however seen coments on other sites saying nothing under 1800cc as it will strugle going up hills.
