auto locking hubs

i was told at my last m.o.t that the front offside wheel bearing had some play in it,and would proberly need some attention in the future.i am no mechanic but will have ago at fixing/replacing the bearing if it is not too difficult to remove/replacethe auto locking hub in front of the bearing.
can anyone help me with this or am i better seeking a specialist Unknw
i own a 1994 fourtrak independant tdi and have a cd manual

Replacement parts numbers for my imported Rocky/Sportrak

I am looking for a replacement headlight - drivers side for my 1994 Daihatsu Rocky Import (looks the same as a Sportrak). I contacted a Daihatsu dealer here in Ireland but he said he couldnt match parts with my chassis number on his computer catalogue. It looks identical to the UK Sportrak with the new grill and lights that came on the vehicle from 1994 onwards. I'm hoping the headlights are the same specification on the UK edition as mine. Does anyone know of any differences in the headlight shape between an import Sportrak and a UK one? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at a 1990 Daihatsu Rocky. I need some info. It is a 2 door, gas , manual trany. What engine and who makes it? Are parts available? Are filters (air,oil) available at local auto parts dealers? Where was the vehicle made? Are these dependable vehicles? What are known problem areas? Thanks, My first time on this forum.

What to look for when buying?

Hello,

I'm looking for a sporttrack and was wondering if there were any specific things to look out for. I know they're renowned for their reliability and to look for underside damage etc and the obvious stuff but does anyone know about the not so obvious stuff like if there's any sign of oil leakage from X then walk away.

Any tips any of you could pass on would be much appreciated.
