I've finally started some pre-welding preparation for my F78.
Behind the bumpers is a pressed steel non-structural cross-member, a kind of rear sill. I'm struggling to get a decent micrometer thickness measurement on this through one of the holes. Is it normally 1mm or 1.5mm?
Similarly, is the load bay and floor pan the same gauge?

I bought an 02 fourtrak fieldman off ebay in October this year.
Its amazing! Im in love with fourtrak's.
Its time for a good service and check through of everything. Currently its on 60k with history and mot's to back up.
Also im looking for a lwb fourtrak to do a pick up conversion on in the future.
Don't normally worry about fuel consumption as I don't do much mileage and over here in Lanzarote petrol is still quite cheap. However because it's gone up from €1.04 to €1.13 per litre (£0.92/litre) over the last few weeks I decided to check my consumption over the last three tank fills, a distance of approximately 1,000 km. I was taken aback to find that I was only averaging 24 mpg which is, much to my surprise exactly in accordance with the on-board display - I had not previously believed the on-board calculation because it was so poor.
I HAVE A 91 FOURTRACK ESTATE IN MINT CONDITION WITH JUST OVER 2000 MILES ON THE CLOCK, IT'S IN RED & SILVER WITH A FEW BITS OF RUST ON THE NUTS BUT THAT'S IT. I BELIEVE THIS WOULD BE IDEAL FOR A COLLECTOR BUT HAVE NO IDEA AT THIS TIME WHAT THE VALUE WOULD BE. IT'S WAY TO GOOD TO GIVE AWAY FOR A FEW GRAND. IM ALSO TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANY SHOWS I COULD TAKE IT TO NEXT YEAR TO GENERATE SOME INTEREST. I WILL GET PICTURES TO FOLLOW WHEN WEATHER IS BETTER, BUT IF ANYBODY CAN GIVE ME ANY ADVICE I'D BE MUCH APRICHATED.

Im trying to source two front wheel cylinders for my F55, i asume that they are the same as the F50 or F20, i need the left & right cylinders for the passenger front, i would appeciate any help soucing them.

do any of you know how much fuel the p reg fieldman/rocky fuel tank will hold
and then i can work out when to refuel her thanks for your time

Anyone out there help,headlights on my 95 Fourtrak Rugger ( import ) are just about useless , especially on dip , can upgraded bulbs or any modifactions be fitted to improve them ( as long as its legal ) without causing any harm to wiring etc.
