Not sure if i have a problem or not, but here goes;
Starting procedure is as follows;
1) key in.
2) Turn to 'glow' posn.
3) wait until glow light goes out.
4) turn key to start.

We appear to have a very slight pause, say 1/2 second, between turning the key to start and any movement of the starter motor - is this normal:?

Hopefully ths is the right place to post this!
Any one know where the illumination lamp is for the heater controls and how to get to it to change it? All my other dash lights work, cigar lighter etc but not this one. Prob a pain and thats why it's prob not been changed before!

Have just bought my first Foutrak & thought I would find out how you guys are mounting mobile phones in your vehicles.

I own a 2000 Daihatsu Rocky 2.7 TD. It has a DL52 engine, for which parts are not readily availble in South Afica.
The engine needs to be opened, and I cannot source a head gasket set anywhere. Apparently even the suppliers do not stock it and have it only manufactured on request, which can take up to 6 months!
Can anybody help?

My current tyres (General Grabber)with road style tread are 255/70/15 on the original pepperpot style alloys.
I've managed to get my mits on some BF Goodrich M&S that are 235/75/15.
Q. Does anyone know if these will sit ok on the 7J rims?

I've done a comparison and the diameter is -4mm which is nowt so the speedo reading etc will be ok.
