Hi all, my first post! I bought a 1987 Toyota Blizzard LD21G. This vehicle was built by Daihatsu for Toyota and exclusively sold on the Japanese Domestic Market. The chassis/interior/frame is from a Daihatsu Fourtrak, but the engine is a Toyota 2LT Turbo Diesel.

With that said, there are a lot of unplugged things under the dash. Any Fourtrak owners out there know what these plugs are for? Can someone point me to a page in the manual?

I am co-authoring a book on collectible Japanese cars and there is a very nice section on Daihatsu.

We are looking for high quality photographs of the following cars:

Daihatsu Compagno Spider
Daihatsu Charade 926 Turbo
Daihatsu Charade de Tomaso 926R Prototype
Daihatsu Mira/Cuore Avanzato TR-XX R4

Our 2006 Terios has an odo trip display which can be changed ( by the mode button ) to show such as fuel consumption : temperature: altitude: range , etc. The problem is the language text detailing the name for each of tbese modes reads in Japanese ,
Is there a way to change this into english

I am looking for a well kept Fourtrak should anyone have one for sale or thinking about it. We used to have a nearly new one about 12 years ago and have always regretted selling it.

I would pay dealer retail price for the right motor.
