Hi guys, new to the forum, just looking for some info regarding the 1.3 sirion awd. I believe its called the rally 4 or 4trak in the UK, and in Germany its just called the awd sport.
1st what type of awd system do they use? Is it a centre differential or a viscous coupling?
2nd what is available in regards to front and rear LSD? (Also any information on the rear diff would be greatly appreciated eg. manufacturer, part number ect)
3rd do they run the same transmission as the storia x4? (I am aware the ratio's are different, but unsure about the housings)
I am looking at buying a MK2 Sirion. I know they're also named the Subaru Justy and the Daihatsu Boon, as well as the Perodua MyVi, but none of this has helped much.
Hello I'm looking into getting a bullbar for my fourtrak independent 96 limited does any one know if the bull bar from the older leaf spring models will fit my independent model? Cheers
had the Terios a week ... first job ... get remote
locking sorted ...
Got old but servicable 2 button remote from ebay...
cost £40 ... steep but only option ...
Came to forum ... took note of programming instructions from a few posts ...
Spent several unhappy hours getting no respose from the locking system.
Continued to search the Web ... eventually found
a user manual with more detailed info ...
This worked for me .. Quick, Quick, Slow, Slow, Quick
Anyone know of a good source of information in UK for this model? i would like some help lifting the ride height of the leaf springs, i cant find any lift info anywhere without changing out completely. cheers Jon
I recently drove one of these Landrovers and was not impressed as the transmission noise was very loud and the turning circle was terrible can't understand why they fetch so much money nowadays, had a WW11 Willis jeep some years ago and was a far superior vehicle, Then the press say the Fourtrak is very Agricultural , Not in my books compared to this Landrover, Fourtrak is like a rolls Royce in comparison
