wheelarches

Forum:

Hi all, i have just become the proud owner of a 1997 Fourtrak. I am chuffed to bits with it. The only problem with it is some rust on the rear wheel arches. I am wondering if there are any plastic trims you can buy that cover the outside edges of the wheel arches because when i remove the rust and fill and re-paint i fear it will look a mess. I know some vehicles can have these trims. Also any tips on basic maintainence will be most welcome as i am compleatly new to these motors. Thanks.

F20 engines

Forum:

Hi Guys

Looking through old posts it seems like a few people have been changing the 12R engines for something else.

Does this mean that some members might have a 12R engine hiding in there shed or gargage? If so im after one!

Also on the same note does anyone know if the 18R has the same bell housing mounting points as the 12R?

Cheers

Marc

Poor Battery

Forum:

Have a YRV F Speed that seems to eat batteries!! Generally they last for about 21 months then go flat. System been checked, charging ok and not leaking. Told problem is car not used enough ( outside parking & maybe not used for a week to 10 days at a time).
What if I went on hols for 2 weeks and left car in airport car park?
