Currently running standard 215/80 15 tyres on standard 15/6 steel rims. Seems that the only tyres available in this size are generally a bit useless. Am wanting to use General AT2s or BFG etc.
I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A FOURTRAK INDEPENDENT TDX 1994 can anyone tell me if the independent is an oddball or do most of the other fourtraks use the same running gear i want to purchase a workshop manual but it appears you cant get 1 for an f78
Hi All, I Seen a small out board motor today, and the name on it was TOHATSU . I was wondering if it has anything to with the Daihatsu Toyota group any one know of TOHATSU. Was the first time I ever heard or seen of TOHATSU!! Shugy
Hi, I have just had a new locking shaft nut, gasket and clutch fitted in my 1996 fourtrak however now the light on the dash does not come on when I select 4 wheel drive high or low. I have spoken to the person who did the gearbox for me who says they checked that 4 wheel drive is working and that it must be the bulb - how do you get to the bulb to check it. I can feel 4 wheel low working but am not sure about 4 high.

Is it easier to take out an engine on a sportrak with the gearbox etc attached. I need to swap over engines so thought it may save time and i would be able to split them both and reassemble them on the floor.

I'm pleased to announce: my fourtrak passed it's MOT today! Now i've just got to deal with a long list of advisors.
At least I'm roadlegal again, and it drives better than it has in years.
