ive just ordered a winch for my sporttrak do i have to buy a winch bumper or not because there are 2 tidy holes in the middle of my original bumper that i could run her through im thinking i will have to do a lot of modifacations to get her on the vehcile it wont be a easy job like slapping one in a old landy i just wondered if there is any one who has fitted a winch to a daihatsu and could offer me some advice thankyou
Hello. I've just bought a fourtrak 1998 tdl se (my first 4x4 which is great) but does anyone know if it will have auto locking diffs? It doesn't have manual ones, well as far as i can see. I'm wondering this as i got stuck in a ditch last night and took me forever to get it out. If it hasn't can you fit manual ones??
After many months of work on my Sportrak Riviera which involved keeping down a full and part time job my Sportrak Riviera passed its MOT at 10am this morning.
So THANK YOU to everybody who answered a forum question I had,to the many members who had written items relevant to the rebuild on the site.
Just curious to know what plugs you other Sportrak dudes are running on. I've used NGK's for as long as I can remember thru laziness and/or unwillingness to experiment - but If anyone can suggest a better alternative then I'm all ears..
I wonder if anyone can help me here. Just picked up a '96 Fourtrak Fieldman and I need to get the cambelt changed. Does anybody know of a decent garage or mobile mechanic who could do it well? I'm in North London but any place in a few miles radius or in Essex would be ok. Just don't want to drive too far for fear of cambelt snappy doom! Also how much should i expect to pay for parts & labour?
