hi all i'm sam i'm 26 year's old i live in devon england and i have just brought a sportrak after owning a vitara for one year i brought the sporty because i've killed the vitara useing it offroad to much she was a good jeep but i have to get rid of her because she won't pass the mot so i've just brought a sporty for going offroad as we have lot's of green lanes round here so can anyone tell me how it would be best to mod for offroad please it's got a lot of rust under the body but the body itself is in good nick with the vitara i had it plated over the axles and big mud tyres and sprayed i

Well iv taken the plunge and bought a 1998 fourtrak TDX after owning various landrovers.
First impressions are very good although it seems to get quite noisey at speed and could do with a 6th gear or overdrive!, would fitting 16 inch rims help

Hi all, hope you don't mind, i'm not a Diahatsu owner myself but this is on behalf of my sister. Last night she had her Fourtrack stolen! And as the local police have jumped into action and done nothing to find it, i was hoping you guys and girls could keep an eye out for it for her please?
i've got a diahatsu 2.8td engine in my landy,however for some reason the revs dont drop as quickly as they should when i take my foot off.i checked all linkage,cables,then cleaned and oiled everything,does anyone have any ideas what to check next?
12 months Mot 6 months TAX Very reliable truck served me well. Has to go as my girlfriend is having a baby and need something a little family freindly. Hankook tyres with good tread bodywork good usual suface rust but hardly any. New sills, pads serviced 3 months ago, Pulls great in every gear all works how you woul expect it to, manual hubs, tow bar. The truck is advertised on ebay. Make me an offer. Profitteering or what ???????, so garages make little profit on fuel , because the Gov make the the profit, but this is excessive, yes I know its a matter of supply and demand, thankfully I can mix veg oil at 50%, as I pay £1.33 a liter for diesel, and am buying Rapeseed oil at £1.07 liter.
hi everybody
i need some advice as to if i fit a different air filter ie a cone filter, in my sporty will this give more power?
also when i am turning at a bend i do keep hearing a noise from the right hand side wheels like a dragging sound. it only happens at certain times and i have checked the calipers, the bearings etc but i still hear it again.
i read it somewhere,can't remember where though :$,if i'm not mistaken,that you can get fold down roof for the "Sporty",if so does any1 know from where & how much it may be?
