I found this site a few days ago and am finding it an invaluable source of information. Have been the proud owner of Brucie, an L reg Fourtrak Independent since last August. Unfortunately he's been off the road since Christmas cos he was losing brake fluid with no evidence of where it might be going! Thanks to this site I now have a good idea.
....and here to stay, well after I sold my last Fourtrak a couple of years ago I'm back, I had my last fourtrack for about 18 months and sold it to buy a Range Rover, big mistake, now I'm over that and the RR has gone and hopefully I'll be in possession of my 4th Fourtrak soon
I read somewhere on this site about there being a cd for the Sportrax that covers the wiring,service manual & the like but i can't remember where,can some1 plz point me in the right direction for it plz thx
I saw this on ebay, and am a bit confused as to what it is;
i dont really have much knoledge of daihatsus,
but this looks like an f20, but has a G reg plate, so should be a sportrak,
it is also listed as a sportrak.
any help very welcome, also any advice about whether i should buy it!
hi guys im new to this forum need help my fourtrack is under the sea as we speak it got stuck in sand i have disconected the battery and blocked the intake im waiting for the tide to go owt and have a tractor going to tow it owt what do i need to do before i start is help please....thanks
Thought you’d like to know, supported by World Off Road internet magazine there is a charity prize draw taking place for a Malaysian couple and 3 year old son who have just embarked on a 30 month round-the-world expedition. Raising funds for a pet therapy / disabled persons charity, the prize is right up our street … or should I say ‘track’.
Have just fitted a 2.8 TD out of a fourtrak into my Land Rover Series, am using the old Daihatsu filter etc...
Now no matter what I do the pump on the filter will not draw fuel into the filter, even getting rid of the filter housing and running the fuel pipe direct to the injector pump this will still not allow fuel to get to it..
Hi does anyone know or have any plans on how to make a home made snorkel kit. Also does it make my fourtrak louder and will it affect its performance. Cheers stevo
