Just a comment, mail order from a well known 4x4 supplier down Derbyshire way, 6 sump washers for my fourtrak (poor quality fibre washers, not copper as I would have expected, 3 squids plus a further 3.46 post and packing, off to Daihatsu dealer next time! anybody want half a dozen fibre washers?
Does any one know where I can get parabolic springs for my sporty? I have bin looking on the net but can only find ones for landrovers! I know there is a supplier who does them for a sporty because I saw an add in a landrover mag but have lost it! Or if you have any suggestions on good rear leaf spring suppliers any advice is welcome.

Does anyone know where I can get a number plate light holder for my fourtrak. I have a 2.8TD 1990/91. Unfortunately, mine worked itself loose and fell off whilst I was driving. I have managed to retreive it, but its a bit flat!
All the wires are exposed now, so I need to get one asap.

I drive a 91 daihatsu sportrak with EFi. I need a new oil sump gasket and maybe a new oil sump because its leaking a fair amount of oil. Has anyone else had this problem, as I was wondering whether I should just replace the gasket, or whether I should by a new oil sump as well. Oh, and does this mean taking the engine out or can i get to it underneath? The engine was rebuilt about 1 1/2 years ago but the gasket was never replaced.

Just wondering if anyone has a high mileage fourtrak- I would be interested to learn how many miles my Fourtrak might have left. I drive a 'T' Reg Fieldman TDS with 93,000 miles on the clock. I'm running a catering business at weekends and wondered if I should be saving for my next vehicle.
I`m in the process of changing the brushes in my alternator. Ordered them today from Lucas, £20+ vat. Whilst looking around the forums I noticed that a voltage regulator has been mentioned with regard to the alternator. Could someone tell me where the voltage regulator is situated and what is its function in the charging system? My old girl is a 1991 F75 Fourtrak if that has any relivance. I`d be interested to know any info about the said regulator just in case of future problems that may arise.
