Can anyone help! The No.1 injector pipe went last week on my fourtrak and I can't find one anywhere. Milners catalogue don't appear to list them, I can't find a local dealer who can supply and nothing on ebay!!!
Currently got a temporary fix on but can't trust this for too long!
Hi guys, i've been tidying up my 4trak recently and she's looking pretty fine now, apart from the alloy wheels. They are the teardrop type and are looking worse for wear now the rest of the truck is gleaming!
Question is, are there any ways of stripping them back and re-coating them? or is it better just finding somewhere that refurbishes alloys?...i don't really want to spent a lot of money, just would like my wheels to look nice.
Hi new to the site and wondered if anyone could help with a little information I have a 96 fourtrack TDL used it in four wheel drive for the first time to pull my caravan of the wet field and only got one wheel drive on O/S/Rear high & low seem to work but thats it! any ideas or comments would be appreciated thanks Jeff
Hi there, i've just started working on restoring and improving my 1987 Fourtrak, it runs beautifully but was beggining to look a bit shabby.
One of the main problems is the drivers side front wing is pretty dented. Does anyone know any good places to get pattern parts for older Daihatsu's, since everythings bolt on it would be a fairly easy change over. Alternatively does anyone have a front drivers wing going spare they'd like to sell, i'm not worried about odd bits of rust (it can all be repaired with some alu mesh and plastic padding ) as long as it isnt dented.
please could owners check when putting the milage on forums:dont forget when reading your speedo to put a one in front of your mileage unless you have documented proof that that is the original mileage,as on diahatsu,s there is niot enough numbers on the clocks,
its getting annoying when people put lovely k reg sportrak with 38,000 on the clock, pull the other one,try 138,000 I have 26 sportraks in my yard that i break and not one of them has done under 70,000 and they range from c-reg up to m-reg. the average mileage a year is 12,000 so take a 11 year old k-reg sportrak this would give you an average of 10,000 miles on the clock,
I have a 1990 fourtrak EL.
I have a problem with alot of oil being thrown out of the rear diff, i think it is the oil seal ,can anybody tell me how easy it is to change the seal. and if anyone has other ideas why there should be excessive oil being thrown around under the body around the rear diff area, would they be kind enough to assist.
