fourtrak tank size is supposed to be 60 litres, yet i never can get more than about 49 litres into it, even if i drop well below the red zone on the gauge. I s there a reason for this? Is it a lot of air or buit up sediment in the diesel? Just want to know how far i can go before it runs out, without it actually running out!

I'm sad to say i'm selling my 1992 sportrak elxi pickup . i have done the the conversion myself and it gets a lot of atention when i go out in it.
She's had a 2" lift, 30x9.5 greenway machos, 32mm spacers,k&n with induction kit,removable tow bar, side stickers removed,mountney stearing wheel, and rock sliders. i'm putting 12 month's MOT on and there is about 4 months tax.
i'm only selling her because i've been offered another vehical at silly money.:smile:

I've an old CJ-5 Jeep (actually ex Iraq army - really !)that I bought to restore.
I'm now thinging it might just be simpler to put the Jeep body on the running gear of a rotten Fourtrak.
At the moment it's just an idea but worth considering as I'm finding that rebuilding the mechanics of the Jeep to RHD and diesel power / 5 speed box are going to be very expensive.
ive been looking for bull bars for a while for my 95 sporty.
ive found a few good places but are really expensive i have found sum on ebay but they are for a vitara would they fit my sporty any info would be nice.:)

Im looking to redo my interior and was wondering if anyone hase any idea if i need to get a specific size/shape for my 87'fourtrak or would a standard fitting suffice?
Only looking to do the front seats and back, not too fussed bout the flip-seat in the back.
Hi like to say im new to the seen but i will be liering as i own a ford maverick lwb, but i have just got myself a fourtrax 2.8 n.a deisel swb pick up it has on it a winch, snorkel, roll cage and nubblys, i would like to give it ever a spoa or a lift by about 2 to 4 in lift does anyone have any adive on this all help is grateful.
