hi guys i have a landrover series 3 with what i was told was a 2.5 na daihatsu diesel engine i have a few questions how do i identify which model it is how many different 2.5 engines did they make the only model i can find was the f50 it is a great engine but i need some info for spares etc any help would be greatly appreciated
Hello all, I'm another new sportrak owner, it's a '97 and needs some love, it's been sat for three years, so needs all sorts doing including new tyres. It's got 225/70/R15 on there at the moment but a friend has offered me two 215/80 from a fourtrak but I don't know whether to go and get two more in case I get them all to a garage to be fitted and they're too big, rub on the body etc etc. I've had a look for a similiar post on here in case I'm repeating someone, I'm sure it's a common question. All help much appreciated!
hi, am new, just thought id introduce myself, im rob, just recently bought a k reg sportrak, its totaly standard aside from having some colways on but may look to buy some goodies for it in the future. am hoping ive got a good jeep with this one, is there anything i should check on it, i.e common faults ect, any way just wanted to say Hi!
If anyone is interested, I've registered with the Isle of Man 4wd Club Forum, and a user has mentioned that discounts are available for Club Outings on the ferry (which is usually somewhat expensive, compared to European ferries!).
all done on top end rebuild valves checked out ok and push rods were only 10.99 each form diahatsu leicester.
just hope all goes well now it went pretty easy but its too expensive to
have that happen again ill checking the timing belt now every 1000 miles until im confident again.
tappets are a bit noisy though i set them a 0.30mm cold ill red adjust tomorrow warm i think
Hi the head gasket on my sportrax has just blown does any one no the torque settins and the sequince to tighten thm have no manual any help would be most appreciated

Does anybody know where the Central locking controller is located in a 1996 Sportrak? I am in the process of fitting a scorpion 1015t2 alarm and intending to link it with the central locking. Also, how can do you get to the back of the door open sensor switches?
