Hi preety new to this, I have 1997 charade which has just failed it's emmision test.
I know that its not the CAT or exhaust as the whole thing was replaced only a week ago. No warning lights come on which i hope is good.

The results of the test are as follows
fast idle test
CO level 1.01% FAIL
HC level 169 ppm pass
Lambada 1.00 pass

I have lost the remote & key (grey) to my new-series Sirion.

Spare key works fine (and has a metal label still attached (is this a programming code?)

What is the best (and cheapest) way to get a replacement key (essential) and possible remote (depends on cost).

I am posting to assist a friend with a 1998 Daihatsu Pyzar that has interior electrical issues.

The dashboard and interior lights are no longer working which worries as she is not a confident driver at the best of times.

Hi, the engine management light has started to appear on the dash. There is no loss of power and the car functions as it normally did but this light now appears when starting and seems to go off when the engine temp is at its normal level.

If the car is turned off for a 5-10 minutes then on again the light will come on again but still go off when engine is at normal.

Hello all,
Just brought a extol van, 2004, petrol 1300cc.
Driving home 30 mins into my journey, the oil light came on.
Toped up oil, and the light momentarily went out.
however 1 minute later it appeared again, with the engine manegment light (MIL).

The code is p1349...
can anyone help point me in the right direction of whats wrong?
