YRV 1.3 Engine Light OBD Mystery Misfire code

Hi,

Last week the engine light came on and I got a cylinder 4 misfire code mentioning the coil on the OBD Computer. After replacing the coil, and resetting the light the light came back on again. I have tested the replacement coil and the spark plug. I gave the plug a clean as well, both work fine as the plug sparks, so does the original coil which I removed from the car.

YRV 1.3 Maf sensors - dealer only?

It would appear that my mass air flow sensor on the yrv 1.3 4trak is on the way out...the car has a real flat spot, and the MPG has dropped by 10 MPG!! and there is a slight occasional surging of the tickover at junctions. I've unplugged the maf and it runs much better. Does anyone know where I can get a new one, (or at least a good, low mileage second hand one? are they the same on the terios or anything else?). I've tried a few google searches but nothing, so am assuming they are dealer only?

I have recently purchased a cute Charade GSXI 1.6 1993. Its an odd story as I sw the car for sale in the Isle of Wight many months ago but it was sold before I had a chance.
I then saw an ad for a charade in my local area and it turns out to be the same car Smile So I guess its true careful what you wish for.

YRV mot fail

Hi all. Taken the YRV for an MOT today and it failed on 1 thing. The ABS lamp on the dash does not light up. For as long as I have had the car it has never illuminated. The ABS is working but no lamp. I have taken the speedo unit out today to see if it is a bulb gone but no its a diode that is on the PCB so I need a new or second hand unit to fit. Can anyone help with this or is this a common fault that I can get fixed.
