when my engine is cold it runs fine, after 5 mins it runs really rich then miss fire and smokes, it is a 1.6 16v injection model,i took plugs out and they were sooty black and 1 was wet,hopefully someone has had same prob and may be able to help me out,kind regards nig
I have a Daihatsu Charade 1.3 GLXI 1997 between 1500-2000 rpm there seems to be a died zone (flat spot)its always there...! anyone had this and know what to do..?

Iv just picked up the van from Honinton 2day & drove her for the first time back to Poole,
The temp gauge was steady for most of the trip.Iv gone out again driving 3miles in trafick and noticed temp gauge climbing,it went up to max when i stoped for 10mins and only droped when i carried on driving?Any advice pls be apprec.
Hi I have just discovered a possible problem with my 1.0 1998 Sirion. When I switch on the headlights they work fine but thy won't switch off unless I switch of the ignition? so is there a relay that is faulty? or is it something else?
Hello to all, i have had this car for nearly 4 years and it has been trouble free until recently when the ;overdrive off; lamp started flashing and i found myself stuck in 2nd gear..
However after switching of the vehicle and restarting it the problem went away. That was a month ago since then the problem is returning
more and more frequently. I dont think it is a mechanical problem as there are no strange noises, and the car runs fine most of the time.
any help or info offered on this problem will be greatly appreciated.
