1. i have a problem about the dome light.....when i m doing some DIY on it(looping some LEDs), suddenly everything turn off (dome light)...may i know where is the fuse for it???
2. where is the wiring for the rear door sensor who attach wif dome light too
I am having real trouble sourcing 2 outer CV joints for the above model & am hoping some one can point me in the right direction. The joints have 24 outer teeth & 21 inner.
All suppliers I have tried can not supply......interparts have no plans for another production run either.
Has anyone had headlamps cracking on a 2003 EL Sirion? They've both gone the same way. There is no sign of any impact damage (stone or hammer!) Standard bulbs are fitted. My previous Sirion did not suffer this despite 90K having been covered. I have already replaced the N/S unit but I now need an O/S Unit. I have placed an Ad on parts wanted so if anyone out there has an O/S headlamp unit, I'd be grateful if you would contact me.
right seems i got lucky last time and my radio/mirrors/cigar light all started working when i pulled the 10a spare fuse under the bonnet but today i went to use my fag lighter and it all stopped working again i tried all fuses but they all look fine only thing i can think off it that there is a hidden fuse or relay or a dodgy connection.
I have been advised by my mechanic that I could do with replacing the engine mounts.
He didn't say if it was all of them or just 1-2.
I called Daihatsu parts in Croydon and if I want all 3 it will be £99.95 + £185.42 + £171.71 plus VAT.
Does anyone know where I can get some refurbs? Decent 2nd hand? pattern parts?
Just purchased a 2001 Sirion SL. Took it for test drive approx 15 miles, no probs. Dealer drove it to my house today, approx 20 miles and I drove him home which was another 25 miles or so. I stalled it once near home as not wearing best of shoes and when I reversed it onto drive. Then the engine management light came on....Before I take it to garage, I know the car has been hardly used since Jan, just sitting in dealer ship. All seems fine, is due to being idle...
Also, drivers electric mirror motor comes on for about a minute everytime I turn engine on? Then goes off.
My Daihatsu Pyzar (Gran Move) is overheationg, once it gets halfway on the temperature gauge it starts to miss, have taken the centre out of the thermostat unit, and replaced the ring back to try to get the temperature down, still seems to be getting very hot. 5mins it heats up. And the fan doesnt seem to kick in early enough and only for a short time. Ive been looking all over the internet for a manual but cant find an english one, does anyone know where to download the manual. Thanks
