i have a 1998 charade and i lost the only key. I got a non coded key so i got in to the car but cant start it,, is there any way to bypass the immobiliser??

Hi wondering if anyone can help me out,drive an otherwise faultless rally 2 which recently has started missing slightly at lower revs.Its starting to get to be awkward in traffic, idle speed and running is fine just when moving off and up to just over 2000 revs and trying to nip out into gaps at junctions is not as smooth as should be,once the revs get up things improve,tho not quite 100%.Id like to hopefully nip his in the bud before it gets worse.The car has always been regularly serviced and recently has been.Shes only done just over 40 thousand miles.Thanks everyone

Just signed up hoping for some helpful info. No stranger to car forums myself, but trying to get some help on my GF's car.

The car starts and runs fine from cold, but once warm it has a really rough idle to the point where a lot of the time it stalls when the clutch is pressed in.

enquired a few weeks ago but can't find the post. Just to let you know it was a bad/worn contact between a copper ring and terminal inside the starter motor pinion/actuator mechanism. Fixed and working ok now. Brushes still in excellent condition. thanks to those who commented previously
