Hello, wondering if you might be able to give a complete car-novice some advice please?

Hi. Can anyone advise please. My 2003 YRV has the 989cc engine 33k miles. the exhaust had been blowing for a few weeks. It has now been replaced. for the last fortnight the car has cut out when I slow and depress the clutch-- no stutter clean cut-out. Otherwise the car is fine. It starts immediately drives without any hesitation and ticks over while stationery. it only starts this fault once warmed-up.-i guess when the choke cuts out. any help/thoughts? thanks

I am on my second Sirion, this one being a 1.3 SE auto 07 reg. Had it from new. Had it serviced last march when told it needed new front brake discs. After some discussion they were changed under warranty, car had done 13000miles in the 2 years.
Had it tested last week before last service under warranty and independent tester said that i would need new discs on front next year, AGAIN!

Having EFI problems on cold morning starts....do any of the available service manual downloads cover the injection system on these cars?

Hi, recently my reversing sensors on my 2006 SE suddenly stopped working. I want to see if I can solve the problem myself before taking it to a reputable local auto-electrical specialist. Is there anything obvious I should be checking for? I thought it might be a fuse at first but the reversing lights are ok and I'm assuming the sensors are wired into the same circuit? I'm probably imagining this as it doesn't seem to make sense, but it really feels like its easier to engage reverse gear now than it ever has done.
