My trusty Grand Move estate automatic 1499cc Aug 1997 first reg, has never let me down, and as a disabled driver ( it has hand controls fitted, a wheelchair hoist and souped up power steering)that is invaluable. It just failed an independent MOT on emissions, tester ( known and trusted for years, first fail)says it definitely needs back exhaust section, and he suspects cat section too and Lmada sensor as it is eating oil ( no leak visible ditto no smoke).

hi all i seem to have a wine form 2nd gear on my rally 2. all the other gears sound normal. wondered if this is right for 2nd gear on these cars or if there is something wrong. also any ideas whats wrong and how much would it cost to fix it? cheers all.
Can another carb/nanifold be fitted to my 850cc ohc coure. The carb is u/s and I cannot source another anywhere. A new one is too cost prohibitive.

I soon have a Daihatsu 2,8 TD engine in my LR S3. I have the service manual for that engine but I cant find this answer there:
there are three cables coming out of the alternator (DENSO): blue/white, green/white and brown, to what should they connect.

Morning all,
a knock on the door by the local PC to inform me that some mindless moron has heaved a brick thru my car window. Nothing taken but they were in the process of trying to break the ignition and nick it.
I live outside Wigan and am having difficulty trying to find a window from a breakers. Any ideas or should I claim off the insurance and let them sort it?
I have a 2007 Sirion with the 1.0 engine. It has developed a vibration when the speed is between about 60 and 70 mph, but is smooth above and below this speed range. You can feel a sort of droning buzz through your feet.
